With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Rice Holland Sr. (Winchester, Kentucky), who passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, William Rice is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that William Rice's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Holland and Margaret Holland (Reed); and his sons, William Holland Jr. and Timothy Lee Holland. He is survived by: his children, Robert W. Jordon (Deborah), Pricilla Martin (Gary), Melissa Shrewsbury, Alisa Estes (Mike) and Anthony Hood. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Scobee Funeral Home (219 W Lexington Ave, Winchester, KY 40391). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
