He was predeceased by: his father William G. Kagin, Jr.; and his son William G. "Buddy" Kagin IV. He is survived by: his wife Geneva Beth Kagin; his children, Tiffany Kagin Banks (Kenneth), Thomas Kagin and Valene Kagin; and his grandchildren, Caleb Banks, Kagin Banks, Kaitlyn Caudill (Austin), Kimi Kagin, Zane Maines, William G. Kagin V, Byron Larrison, Makenzie Shifflet, Karli Kagin, Jaidyn Moore, Kai'lan Thomas Vann-Kagin and Aveah Bell. He is also survived by great grandchildren, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Clark County Animal Shelter, 5000 Ironworks Road, Winchester, KY 40391.
