He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Frank "Jack" Gatson, Jr. and Laura Maude Casteel Gatson; and his son Stuart Blaine Gatson. He is survived by: his children, Rev. Jack David Gatson (Rhoda) and Laura Gay Fulks; his daughter-in-law Debra Riggs Gatson; his grandchildren, David Allen Gatson (Nicole), Amanda Jane Gatson, Jason Stuart Gatson (Elena), Brandon Scott Gatson (Kristen) and William Charles Fulks (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Aiden Joel Frey, Blaine Stuart Gatson, KleytonScott Gatson, Dallas Skye Gatson, Stella Jane Fulks and Sadie Joyce Fulks; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Wanderlei Griffin and Senette Griffin; his siblings, Lee Roy Gatson, Rebecca June Hartung and Peggy Nunan Short; his siblings-in-law, Shirley Jordan and Marvin Elkin; and his close friend Nannette Ginter. He is also survived by several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
