He was predeceased by: his mother Nora Holbrook; and his siblings, James E. Salyers and Nellie "Lynn" Booth. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Ginter Salyers; his children, Jim Salyers (Laura) and Vicky Pelphrey (Karen); his stepson Robby Griffett (Vivian); his sister Nancy Zornes (Tim); his grandchildren, Jacob Salyers (Liz), Emily Salyers and Brandon Griffett; and his great grandchildren, Rylee Salyers, Nick Griffett and Jack Griffett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
