He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Ellen Rainy Rose; and his sisters, Irene Newton, Annalee Hendren and Joetta Prewitt.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Stokely Rose; his children, Krista Brandenburg (Ron) and Paul Rose (Tara); his brothers, Dan Rose (Barbara), Irvine Earl Rose and Richmond; and his grandsons, Jake Brandenburg, Cody Brandenburg, Jacob Rose and Jared Rose.
