He was predeceased by: his parents, JD Cockerham and Eola "Hag" Clevenger. He is survived by: his wife Janie Hollon Cockerham; his sons, Tommy Cockerham (Valerie) of Winchester, KY and Lucas Cockerham (Jacinda) of Richmond, KY; his grandchildren, Tyler Cockerham and Carrie Cockerham of Winchester, KY; and his brothers, Donald Cockerham (Fay) of Irvine, KY, Greg Clevenger (Tina) of Florence, KY and Tony Clevenger of Beattyville, KY..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Primrose Fire Department or Hospice Care Center in Richmond, KY.
