He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Anne; his brothers, Jimmy, Ricky and Joe; his nephew Sean; and his sister-in-law Sue.
He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Patrick Bordas II and William Thomas Bordas (Carolyn Stanfield); and his siblings, Michael Bordas (Cathy), John Bordas (Marsha), Mark Bordas, Suellen Bordas Spruill (Rick) and Aimee Bordas Giddings. He is also survived by fourteen nieces and nephews and 38 great nieces and nephews.
