He is survived by: his wife Esther Yvonne Thorpe McDaniel; his mother Helen Fields McDaniel; his brothers, Richard (Jackie) and Tim McDaniel (Vickie); and his nieces and nephews, Timothy Earl McDaniel (Kim), Becky McDaniel, Bonnie McDaniel, Tyler McDaniel and Angela Haddix. He is also survived by several great nieces, a great nephew, and many friends.
