He is survived by: his children, Marla Thomas (Elmer), Richmond, Terrie Letcher (Norman), Danville and Mark Woodson Sparks (Amber); his siblings, Rita Patrick, Farrell Sparks, Winchester, Ronnie Sparks (Jennifer) and Estill Co; his grandchildren, Lauren Thomas, Matthew Thomas, Chris Rainwater, Nicholas Rainwater, Andre Bryant and Jakob Dudgeon; and his great grandchildren, Zoey, Christian, Julian, Gavin, Amelia and Isaiah Rainwater.
