She was predeceased by: her husband Walter James Winburn Jr.; her parents, William Robert and Minnie Epperson; and her son Walter James Winburn. She is survived by: her sons, William Robert Winburn (Anne), John Summers Winburn (Janice Weeks) and Steven Andrew Winburn (Terry); her grandchildren, Kathleen Brooke Messenger and Lauren Elizabeth Winburn (Donnie Conatser); and her great grandchildren, Maxwell James Winburn and Benjamin Robert Winburn.
