She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel F. Bowsher Jr.; her parents, James Smith and Ada Woodall Smith; and her stepchildren, Jane Metzger and Samuel F. Bowsher III (June).
She is survived by: her children, Janet Chandler (Jerry), Kay Bowsher, Sharon Bowsher, Mark Bowsher (Teresa), Charlotte Moreland (Robbie) and Beth Bowsher (William Griffith); her stepchildren, Pam Anderson (Jimmy Dan), Judy Sparks (Jim), Margaret May and Toni Wells; and her grandchildren, Chris Chandler, Charlie Chandler, Cathy Ritchie, Nick Winter, Zac Chandler, Casey Dungan, Weston Dungan, Samantha Evans, Shelby Wilson, Jake Bowsher, Josh Bowsher, Kody Bowsher, Kyle Bowsher, Shannon Risden, Kelley Navarro, Sammy Rupard and Ryder Sexton. She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren as well as numerous step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Scobee Funeral Home (219 W Lexington Ave, Winchester, KY 40391). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
