He was predeceased by: his children, Tina, Crystal and Rachel Holder. He is survived by: his spouse Patty Howell Holder; and his children, Misty Chaney (Billy), Roger Holder (Theresa), Mary Winkler and Chris Winkler. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
