He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Thacker, Denise Watkins, Carrie Blackburn, Chantelle Shelton Fugate (Chris) and Robert Nelson Thacker Jr. (Sondra); and his friend Carrie Miller. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
