He was predeceased by: his wife Christine Little Burton; his parents, Henry Clary Burton, Sr. and Patricia Berryman Burton; and his siblings, Bernice Burton, Virgie Cooper, Connie Hoffman, Cleo Burton and Bobby Burton.
He is survived by: his brother Henry Clay Burton, Jr.; and his stepson Johnny Little. He is also survived by niece, several nephews, and extended family.
