He is survived by: his wife Connie Rains Lay; his children, Mark Lay of Ryland Heights, KY and Melissa Hurt (Danny) of West Union, OH; his grandsons, Daniel Hurt, Devin Hurt (Cassy) and Jacob Hurt (Bailey); his great grandchildren, Destiny, Raeann, Camden and Scarlett Hurt; and his sisters, Retha Orrick (Paul), Florine Morgan (Gene) and Donna Jones.
