She was predeceased by: her parents, James Franklin Stone and Pearl Newell Stone; her husband Esley Maxey, Jr.; her son James J. Maxey; her siblings, James Robert "Pike" Stone, Mattie Mae Frazier, Frances Stone McVay and Juanita Brandenburg; and her grandson Nicholas James Maxey.
She is survived by: her son Gregory Lynn Maxey (Angel) of Mt. Sterling; her sister Mary Poole of Winchester; her granddaughter Ashley Michelle Maxey; her great grandchildren, Cameron Maxey and Madison Lane Maxey; and her pet Max.
