He was predeceased by: his son Larry Blanton; his grandson Jason Blanton; and his brother Elwood Blanton. He is survived by: his children, Paula Fuson (Bennie) and Robert Blanton (Sue); his grandsons, Brandon Wells (Jenny), Charlie Blanton and Todd Blanton (Allison); his great grandchildren, Hagan Blanton, Kinley Blanton, Jack Wells and Maddie Wells; and his sister Eva Mae Blanton. He is also survived by several sisters and brother-in-law, nieces and nephews.
