It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael A. Rowady (Winchester, Kentucky), who passed away on February 27, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael A. Rowady to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Alma; his parents, Lewis Alexander Rowady and Rose Jabbour Rowady; his siblings, Julia Rowady of Chevy Chase, Helen Courie of Silver Springs, John Rowady of Lexington and Lewis Rowady of Detroit; and his close friend Cecil Thomas of Winchester.
He is survived by: his children, Jane Rowady of Lexington and Michael A. Rowady, II; his grandchildren, Jackson Wells Rowady of Richmond, Virginia and Davis Michael Rowady of Lexington; his friend Anna Thomas of Winchester; and his nephews, Phil Kearney and Jim Fluty. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Contributions in memory of Mike Rowady may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winchester (the church, St. Agatha Academy, Knights of Columbus or St. Vincent de Paul Society), or the Clark County Public Library.
