Lettie Faye Hall Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lettie Faye Hall of Winchester, Kentucky, born in Letcher, Kentucky, who passed away on July 12, 2024 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lettie Faye Hall to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isom Slone and Maggie Taylor Slone; her daughter Debbie Brock; her siblings, Meldia Slone, Myrtle Sexton, Gladys Amburgey, Corsey Baker, Isom Slone, Jr. and Pete Slone; and her husband Melvin Hall.
She is survived by: her son Jeff Hall (Margaret); her brother Wilson "Jay" Slone (Josie); her grandchildren, Larry Brock Jr., Brandon Brock (Amy), Brittany Brock (Jody) and Matthew Hall (Liz); and her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Lauren, Clay, Kyleigh and Bryson.
Lettie was stricken with the horrible disease of Alzheimer's. Before Alzheimer's took her away, she made her final request that her brain be donated to an Alzheimer's study through the University of Kentucky and the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging. With this in mind, the family requests that donations be made in lieu of flowers to Alzheimer's research in memory of Lettie and the battle she fought daily against this disease.
