He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gary Townsend, Roy Townsend, Mike Townsend, Judy Townsend and Debbie Townsend Holder.
He is survived by: his wife Eugenia Davis Townsend; his daughter Michelle Townsend; his stepson Danny Congleton of Florida; his grandchildren, Casey Durham and Carrie Lewis; his great grandchildren, Carter, Copper Congleton, George Durham and Liam Ambrose; and his siblings, Donnie Townsend and Teresa Townsend York. He is also survived by nine step grandchildren.
