He is survived by: his children, Robin Sue Stockdale of Florida, Bridget Reed of Richmond, Heidi Chism of Campton, Amber Gerber of Trapp, Gerald Wayne Chism of Florida, John Russell Chism of Florida and Marion Travis Chism of Clay City; his siblings, Donna Banks and Marion Russell Chism; and his close friend David Haggard. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
