He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Reed Hall; his parents, Dallas B. Hall and Frances Hall; and his sisters, Patty Parker and Elizabeth Carol Hall.
He is survived by: his children, Jeannie Gwynne (Tony) of Winchester and John V. Hall Jr. (Anna) of Winchester; and his grandchildren, John Gwynne, Janeice Gwynne, Dallas Hall and Lillian Hall. He is also survived by nephews and cousins.
