He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Abner and Amelia Katherine Maines Abner; and his sisters, Brenda Johnson and Linda Johnson. He is survived by: his siblings, Wanda Stanfield (David) and Randy Abner (Patricia). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
