He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schweikart, Jr. and Margaret Papierski (Peg); his son Robert Lanham; and his brothers, Richard Schweikart and Jim Risher.
He is survived by: his children, John Schweikart IV, Mable Carter (Ryan), Jamie Gatewood (Matthew) and Samantha Lolies; his siblings, Ted Schweikart (Phyllis), Tom Schweikart (Charlotte), William Schweikart and Gloria Lawson (Phillip); his sisters-in-law, Phoebe Moses, Ethel Townsend and Virginia Owens; his godfather Ray Moses; and his grandchildren, Trace Thompson (Matthew Lanham), Jadyn Carter (Carson Carter), Sarah and Danyae (Tobyn Lolies). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in John's memory to the St. Joseph Chapel Renovation Fund or St. Joseph Youth Group.
