He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Ackerman and Rosa W. Ackerman; his wife Beverly E Ackerman; his siblings, Jackie B Ackerman and Shirley D Ackerman; and his pets, Conan, Shelby, Sophie, Victor and Belle.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Ackerman, Jr. (Denise), Wilson Ackerman (Holly) and Paula Ackerman; his grandchildren, Sarah E Ackerman, Kaitlyn M Ackerman, Emily E Ackerman and Samuel A Ackerman; his great grandchildren, Zane M Ackerman and Jaxon R Ackerman; his brother James A Ackerman (Karen); and his pets, Jupiter, Hazel, Maggie and Zeke. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
