He is survived by: his children, Connie Lawwill (Harold Duvall) and James W. Lawwill, Jr. (Stacy Shimfessel); his grandchildren, John Lawwill, Wesley Lawwill, Jacob Lawwill, Rebecca Ernest (Charles), Robert Prater and George Prater; his great grandchild Amity Smith; his great great grandchild Nova Dawn Smith; and his brother-in-law Charles "Bud" Moore (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
