It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Townsend of Winchester, Kentucky, who passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Townsend and Helen Strange Townsend; and his wife Marilyn Townsend. He is survived by: his son William Justin Kyle Benningfield of Winchester; and his sister Evelyn York (Jerry W.) of Winchester.
