She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hedges Reed and Thelma Kathleen Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Peter P. Kovalic, Sr.; her children, Kathleen Ann McKinley (Bob), Karen Suzanne Epley (Rick), Peter Paul Kovalic, Jr. and Kimberly Jane Miller (Scott); her grandchildren, Karrie Epley, Leah, Carson, Peter III, Kovalic, Callie and Sydney Miller; her brothers-in-law, Frank J. Kovalic, Robert M. Martin and Phil E. Thompson; and her sisters, Joan Thompson Martin and Jane Thompson Thompson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Winchester, KY, Hospice East and Palliative Care Partners, or the Clark County Animal Shelter.
