He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Arthur and Stella Elizabeth Ray; and his siblings, Erma Lilly, Okla McDonald, Annabelle Hager, Amos Ray, Mary Stollings, Claudia Turner, Jean Ray and Alice Ray.
He is survived by: his wife Shelva Jean Sperry Ray of Whitman; his children, Ruthann Ray Sharrock (Don) and Scott Alan Ray (Rebekah); his grandchildren, Chris (Brittney), Todd (Amanda), Luke Sharrock, London Ray-Dykstra (Aaron), Graham and Finn Ray; his great grandchildren, Raylee, Drayke Sharrock, Jett Sharrock, Elsa Dykstra and Arthur Ray-Dykstra; and his sisters-in-law, Imogene Lackey and Lily Ray. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
