It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman Anthony Smith (Winchester, Kentucky), born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Marcella Annette Owen Smith; his mother Helen Couch Smith; his children, Rachel, Emily, Rebekah and Herman Jacob Smith; and his siblings, Jack Ison (Iva Lou) of Harlan, Kentucky, Kannie Gross (Paul) of Harlan, Kentucky and Tammy Johnson (Tim) of Harlan, Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
