He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty Sparks Steele; his parents, Clay Steele and Mildred Steele; his sons, Jeffery (Janey) of Winchester and Michael Steele (Sherry) of Winchester; his grandchildren, Molly Mayfield (Logan), Catey Steele, Amanda Woosley (Tyler) and Sam Steele; his brother Bobby Steele (Mary); and his brothers-in-law, Dr. Donald Sparks and Joe Manning. He was also cherished by 9 nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID concerns services are for immediate family only graveside ceremony at North Middletown Cemetery Friday May 14th at 1:00 PM.
