He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Glenn and Marjorie Frances McCarty Mitchell; his siblings, Wanda Marie Smith, Amy Lou Ballard, Linda Jean Buckler and Harrison Clay Mitchell; and his sister-in-law Roxanne Mitchell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Henry Lee Mitchell, Sherman Sterling Mitchell (Dawn Jones), Albert Rosco Thomas Mitchell (Betsy), Randy Clyde Mitchell (Vicky Sparks), Jessie Keith Mitchell (Sherry), Birdie Elizabeth Townsend (Donnie), Annette Mitchell (Roy Lee Townsend) and Frances Darlene Alcorn.
