He was predeceased by: his father Robert Gross (Bob); and his brother Terry Lee Gross. He is survived by: his mother Helen Gross; his significant other Teri Gross; his daughter Meredith Heather Gross; his siblings, Vickie Wilson (Stewart), Tim Gross, Tommy Gross (Karen), Rob Gross (Jodi) and Scott Gross; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Hayden and Madison; and his nephews, Adam Gross of Colorado, Todd Wilson, Josh and Austin Gross of Winchester.
