He is survived by: his wife Susan Jane Dunbar Mefford; his children, Chelsea Mefford Stanfield and Mark Mefford (Kelly); his grandsons, Max Stanfield, Ezra Stanfield, Gavin Mefford and Logan Mefford; and his pet Sally Jean.
