She was predeceased by: her father Hubert Ware, Sr.; and her brothers, Hubert Ware, Jr. and Roy Ware. She is survived by: her husband Vernon Joe Maloney; her daughter Vera Powell; her son-in-law Yancy Powell; her granddaughters, Kayla Powell, Lorie Powell and Allison Powell; and her sister Mary Columbia (William).
