He was predeceased by: his parents, Walden Hensley and Mary Hammond Hensley; and his brother Erdine Hensley. He is survived by: his sons, Donald Joe Rice (Barbara), Larry Hensley (Martina) and Mike Hensley (Mary); his grandchildren, Jill Marie Walker (Chad), Leslie Erin Hatton (Phillip), Darrell Eugene Hensley and Mary Elizabeth Hensley Gillespie (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Reese Hatton, Savannah Hatton and Violet Hensley; his granddaughter Lanora Haggard; his great grandchildren, Julie Richardson and Bria Wise; and his brother Alonzo Hensley.
