He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Parker Shuler; his parents, Dellie Shuler and Allie McIntosh Shuler; his sister Bonnie Dunaway; and his daughter Emma Darlene Shuler.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy W. Shuler, Vickie Shuler Sipes and Jennifer Elliott (David); his stepson Trevin C. Henry; his grandchildren, Dana Fox (Randy), Gina Harvey, Aaron Elliott (Alyssa), Trenton Elliott (Morgan), Courtney Barnes and Shawnta Barker; his siblings, Walter Shuler (Jackie), Sidney Shuler (Carol), Emma Oney (Jack), Dellie Shuler, Charlie Shuler and Demmie Shuler Myers; and his stepmother Verna Shuler. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
