He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Edward Estes and Ida Gilkey Johnson Estes; his siblings, Marvin E. Estes, Thomas L. Estes, Mildred Osborne, Bonnie N. Profit, Porter Wayne Estes and Wanda Wills; his close friend Carter; and his granddaughter Kelly Nicole Mohr.
He is survived by: his children, David A. Estes (Kathy) and Deborah C. Pinto (Robert); his grandchildren, Annie Chittick (Nathaniel), Joseph Mohr and Chelsea Dyer (John); his great grandchildren, William, Oliver, Miles, Andrew Chittick and Landyn Dyer; and his sister Sharon Betzing. He is also survived by loving extended family and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
