He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Cantrell and Jean Cantrell; and his siblings, Paul, Charles Cantrell, Richard England and Susie Hazlett.

He is survived by: his wife Valerie Cantrell; his children, David Cantrell Jr., Beth Riley (Joe), Whitney Fuller (Charlie) and Emily Bello (Todd); and his grandchildren, Megan True (Troy), Ben Riley and Cameron Fuller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Central Baptist Church, 101 W Lexington Avenue, Winchester, KY 40391 and/or Grace Bible Church, 250 N Main Street, Winchester, KY 40391.
