It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cora Mae Giles Rector of Winchester, Kentucky, born in Columbia, Kentucky, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Bessie Giles; her husband T. G. "Bill" Rector; her sons, Billy, Eddie and Larry Rector; her siblings, Irene Scott, Henry and Robert Giles; and her children-in-law, Richard Holland and Jean Rector.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Rector (Lisa), Teresa Pasley (Don) of Winchester and Carolyn Holland of Louisville; her brother Kenneth L. Giles of St. Thomas, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Leah Schwartz, William Rector, Heather Emmick, Wendy Brown, Josh, Hannah, Elijah Rector and Ben Pasley; her nephew Kenson Giles; and her friend Linda Barrett. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
