With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Timothy Walters of Winchester, Kentucky, born in Cumberland, Kentucky, who passed away on July 2, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughters, Marian Camille Walters of Winchester and Mary Virgina Walters Atasoy of Raleigh; his parents, Gifford Jerome Walters and Anna May Farmer; and his siblings, Gerald James Walters and Deborah Laetitia Walters Withers.
He is survived by: his wife Leah Patricia Studebaker Walters; his son Robert Benton Walters of Walton; his siblings, Ann Patricia Walters McCubbin and David Monroe Walters (Janet Barbara Dutton); his son-in-law Erhan Cemil Atasoy; and his grandchildren, Hannah Marie Walters, Aydin Ali Atasoy, Jessica Claire Walters, Leah Emine Atasoy and Mia Turkan Atasoy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Cancer Society or to any charity of the donor's choice.
