It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Owen Vermillion (Winchester, Kentucky), born in Corbin, Kentucky, who passed away on July 4, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George Milton Vermillion; her parents, Thomas Owen and Dorothy Johnson Owen; her niece Julie Ann Frye; and her sister-in-law Ruth Vermillion.
She is survived by: her daughter Diana Royse (Ronnie); her grandchildren, Kelsey Gaskell (Andrew) and Andrew Royse; her sisters, Shirley Owen Frye (David) and Louise Owen Pratt (David); and her brother-in-law Frank Vermillion (Donna). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
