He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Claypoole, Sr. and Stella Estes Claypoole; and his siblings, Robert Claypoole, Jr., Laura Jean Ewen, Emma White, Mildred Fischer, Johnnie Claypoole and Tommy Claypoole.
He is survived by: his spouse Pastor Janice Claypoole; his children, Billy R. Claypoole, II (Joy) of Arkansas and Lenora "Francie" Keathley (Chad) of Florida; his grandchildren, Carrie Lee Claypoole and Blaine Keathley; and his brothers, Elihue Claypoole, Clarence Claypoole and Donnie Claypoole.
