He is survived by: his wife Hazel Patrick Nichols; his daughters, Virginia Mitchell (Lawrence) and Barbara Nichols; his grandchildren, Anthony Chism (Kayla), Kesara Mitchell, Patrick Nichols and Phillip Mitchell; his great grandchild Katarina Chism; and his siblings, Wilburn Nichols (Brenda) and Mary Frona Justice. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
