She was predeceased by: her parents, D. B. Toler and Rebecca Wright Toler; her former husband Clayton Dale "Cowboy" Staton; and her son Edwin Dale Staton. She is survived by: her husband Herman Watts; her son Dennis Staton (Pamela) of Winchester; her stepson Jeff Watts (Angie) of Lexington; her stepgranddaughters, Tara Kirk and Michelle Hollon; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Blake, Kaitlyn Shoemaker and Jacob Sandefur; and her close friends, Roberta Risner Staton of Mt. Sterling and Sharon Staton Sparks of Campton. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
