It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean (Barker) Rader (Winchester, Kentucky), born in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on June 10, 2022, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her aunt Billie (Sellers); her uncles, Ray Sellers, Charlie Short and Lerman Rader; and her grandmother Ruby Rader.
She is survived by: her parents, Gary Wayne Short and Linda Kay Rader Short; her children, Jasmine Heard and David Heard; her grandchildren, Josiah Heard, Jaimeson Heard and Mia Bellamy; her siblings, Tiffany Short, Kelly Fountain, James "Leroy" Short, Robert Short and Andy White; her aunt Carolyn Short; and her pet Baby. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
