She was predeceased by: her husband Ben Bates Jr.; her parents, Jack Hatton, Sr. and Rose Jackson Hatton; her children, William Allen, David L. Bates and Carolyn S. Estes; and her siblings, Jack Jr., Glen, Gene, Jerry Hatton, Zella Estes, Ester Crowe and Patty Brandenburg.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Clark (Patrick) and Paul Bates (Teresa) of Winchester. She is also survived by Eight grandchildren, fifteen great – grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
