He was predeceased by: his son David Brett. He is survived by: his spouse Joyce Elliott Brookshire; and his children, Laura Stewart (Wes), Chuck Brookshire (Cindy) and Daniel Brett. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three sisters; and three brothers.
