She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Dewey and Edna Mae Rogers Bailey; her son David Lee Mays; and her great great grandchild Jayden Ritchie. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Lynn Spence (Wayne) and Donald Mays (Tammy L.); her brother Bobby Bailey (Velma); and her close friend Essie "Granny" Miller. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
