He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Charles and Mary Willoughby Charles; his daughter Donna Roe; and his brother Ernest Charles. He is survived by: his son Carl Charles (Debra); his granddaughters, Amy Barnes (Ernie) and Melissa Hollon (Willy); his great grandchildren, Abby Prewitt, Brennen Barnes, Andrew Prewitt, Reagan Barnes and Carter Faulkner; his great great grandchild Jackson Prewitt; and his niece Brenda Charles.
